The Weeknd won “Video of the Year” award at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards – held on the night of last Sunday, August 30th – for “Blinding Lights“ (check here). The Canadian artist also opened the VMA with a super live performance, which should go down in the history of the awards.

Lady Gaga was the big winner of the night with five awards. In addition to being honored with MTV’s first TRICON Award, the American singer won in the following categories: “Artist of the Year”, “Music of the Year”, “Best Collaboration” and “Best Photography” – the last three for “Rain On Me“ (check here), collaboration with Ariana Grande.
